Screencast

Rules to follow when creating Screencasts.
  • Plan, Plan, Plan: plan out exactly what you want to demonstrate on your screencast and practice.  It should be useful information.
  • Termonology used should be uniform.
  • Speak loud and clear at normal speed.
  • Mouse movement should have a purpose.
  • Pause recording when needed.
  • Don't bore your audience by typing large amounts of text; prepare  documents needed ahead of time.
  • Keep recordings short; 3 to 5 minutes good rule of thumb.

  1. I think this ScreenCast is alot better, you spoke clearer and also you talked louder and it was easier to understand. I didn't catch any mistakes in this video and if there were any I didn't think they were that noticiable.
