We will creating screen shots tutorials where you are required to show/teach someone how to do something using your computer. We'll be using a site that will record what you see on the screen. Your job this week is to come up with an idea of what you want to demonstrate. For example, lets say you want to demonstrate how to insert pictures in a word document, add a border and make the text wrap around the image in different ways. Using your computer and microphone, you would create a tutorial. What shows up on the screen is recorded along with your voice.
Even though this tutorial shows one of the many basic procedures on a computer I am interested in how we are going to make a tutorial in class. I think I will enjoy learning how to make something similar to this, even though we will only be recording our voices.

ReplyDeleteI did something like this last trimester on a site called screentoaster.com and it was really interesting, we learned that we could talk and then insert a powerpoint and make it go along as we were talking. But I think that this will be refreshing and it will be easy to understand.
