We’ll be using this site for teacher-to-student communication as well as student-to-student communication. My goal is to do at least one blog post per week. Generally I will post on Monday and you have until Friday to complete the weekly blog by leaving a comment.
Before we get started we’ll have to set some ground rules.First of all, all postings to this site must use school appropriate language. When you post, write in complete sentences. Key your first initial and last name at the end of your post so I know who posted it (all posts are worth points). When commenting on another student’s post, keep your comments non-personal. You can agree or disagree with a comment but refrain from sarcasm and/or put-downs. State your position on the issue at hand and why you feel that way.

ReplyDeleteFor Online A, I had Ms. Fowler as a teacher. I liked the assignments she gave us. I didnt like some of the people in the class because they were never quiet, very distracting, and always ruined assignments for us. My name is Arjae Grindstaff. I had Mrs. Lundquist for online a. I liked that it was easy and I sat by a friend. I didn' like working with Audacity. I have been riding horses for about 6 years. I have one brother and he is 18.

ReplyDeleteI had Mrs. Fowler for Online A. What I liked about the class was that she would allow us to have some freedom, even though we did have to blog about once a week she made them fun blogs. We got to do podcasts, we got to make some avatars for a blog post, and also we got to do some photo editing on picnik.com. There really wasn't anything wrong with this class other than it was first hour so everyone was tired so there wasn't much talking.
ReplyDeleteI have a family of 7. Three brothers, and one little sister. We came to Bedofrd when I was in 7th grade so it was about two years ago. I played basketball all through Jr.High and I am also continuing that now in high school, as I made the Freshman basketball team this year. Also in Jr.High I played softball both years, which was amazing fun, but this year I think that I am just focusing on my two sports which are Swimming and Basketball. I swam when I was little on the Green Hills swim team over the summer and I loved it so I decided to try the whole swim thing. I made the BHS Varsity Swim and Dive team.
For online A, I had Mrs.Fowler. The things I liked about the class was that, she could make the class fun, but at the same time she could keep us all on task. One thing I didn't like about the class was that we had to type alot of stuff down, which made my hands hurt really bad. Well my name is Ivan Oraha. I have 1 brother and 1 sister. My name is josh herring and i had you for online A last trimester:) for the most part i thought it was pretty easy anf some what fun. i dident like doing delicious tags because we never used mpost of them. what i liked about the class was i enjoyed doing most of things we did because they were not boring.
ReplyDeleteFor Online A I had you, I liked doing the zoo project but I disliked speaking in front of everyone. I also liked doing group projects. I have a younger brother, Cole, who attends Douglas Road Elementary. I play softball all year, and travel in the summer. This year I’m playing for the NWO Wizards. Two of my best friends are Jordyn Spotts and Ashley Patton. I usually spend most of my time either playing softball or hanging out with friends.

The part about the class that I enjoyed the most was learning about Delicious, because it has already helped me with projects, and I can see myself using that tool in the future. The portion of the class that I found least useful was learning about blogging. For many of the classes I take, part of the curriculum is having and updating a blog, so I didn't learn much more. I am 17, have a younger sister who is 13, and my family loves to follow sports. Personally I only play soccer, but with my family it takes up most of our time! J. Weiss

For online A I had Ms. Mccormick. The things I liked about the class were learning about identity theft, how to edit photos, recording our voices, making podcasts, making powerpoints, and just working on projects with friends. The thing I didn't like about the class was that we didn't have a lot of time for the projects we did. It was a fun and interesting class.

For Online A I had Mr. Titus. It was a fun class because it was very layed back and you could sit next to friends, but i felt like we never really did much. not complaining.
ReplyDeleteI am the oldest of my siblings. I have 2 brothers (8 and 2) and one sister (6). I have a pet dog named snickers and he's my baby(:. The only sport I am involved in at the moment is competitive cheerleading. I love to spend time with friends and fmaily and i am looking forward to the next trimester in this class.
I had Mr. Titus for my online experience teacher last trimester. I liked the fact that Mr. Titus was laid back and was all ways cool about everuthing. One thing I dislike was the amount of projects we did with him and how much work we had to do to get the good grade. I play Varsity hockey for Bedford and have been playing hockey all my life. I rather not talk about my family due to the recent things that have happened to my brother.

For Online A my teacher was Mrs. Lundquist. I enjoyed the class because as we were in the middle and towards the end of the term I learned about some things that I have never heard of beford such as Delicious.com and Picnic. One thing I did not like about the class was, sometimes, it was hard to follow along with the different steps that we had to take to be able to accomplish some of our assignments.

This is my first year at Bedford Schools and I am really enjoying it so far. I am very excited for the rest of the year!

My 1st trimester online A teacher was Ms.McCormick. What I liked about that class was that it was easy and fun. What I didn't like was that when we did the podcasting assignment, it was really confusing and kinda boring.

A little bit about me is that I have two brothers and one sister. I am takeing drivers ed for the first time and I started yesterday. My mom works here at the school. I love to play soccer and swim. ReplyDeleteIt's good to hear from you - I love reading about your families and what you enjoyed about Online A class. I know research isn't the most fun thing to do but we had to do it sometime during the term and I thought we'd get it out of the way now. This gives me time to grade it over Christmas break. Enjoy your Christmas vacation. See you next year.
