2010 Airshow in Oshkosh
This link has an item that appeared on my husband's Christmas list. http://www.eaavideo.org/video.aspx?v=635469588001 . Do you think something like this would actually sell? Would a limit of 40 miles per hour in the air limit sales? What are your thoughts?
No, i think this wouldn't sell. Yes, i think 40 miles perhour in the air would limit sales. My thought is that its cool but, its probably not green and cost alot of money.

I think something like this really would sell, being it would be a new experiance for everyone they would want to try it out. I don't think that a limit of 40 miles per hour in the air would limit anything. I personally think it would be way better then sitting in a traffic jam. But something to think about is when there is a traffic jam then you never know when someone would go up in the air so if you both go up at the same time then that could possibly end up being dangerous, because there are no laws for it yet meaning that whoever has that type of car can just go up whenever and come down whenever.
ReplyDeleteI think that a car/plane like this will sell. The limit of 40 miles per hour in the air could limit the sales, but I think that even with the speed restriction this product will sell. My thoughts are that this car/plane thing is super cool, and I would want to buy one.
ReplyDeleteI think it would sell if they made it look a bit better, because a black dune buggy with a parachute looks kinda stupid. It's a good idea though. It could really help instead of using rescue helicopters and you could just easily get to a place as long as you can land.40 miles per hour is pretty fast, considering you don't have any traffic.
ReplyDeleteI think something like this would sell in the future. And yes, i think 40mph in the air would limit sales. My thought is that its a smart invention and could be used for a number of useful things. Justin Shafer
ReplyDeleteI fully believe this would sell! Being able to flip a switch and take off while driving your car would be very usefull. Plus the 25 to 30 mpg, and a great way to avoid traffic jams.
ReplyDeleteI think it would sale especially because it can fly and go 45mph that is fast if there is a traffic jam like they said in the video but it would probably cost alot.
ReplyDeleteI don’t think something like that would sell because not everyone knows how to fly a plane, let alone a flying car. I think that the speed of 40 miles per hour in the air would limit sales. I think this is a good invention although it needs to be upgraded a little for everyone to use.

I think this is a great idea, but not feasible for every person to use. The cars can't hold very many people, and do not look very safe. My main concern is by giving some daredevils the ability to fly, where would they take it. They may start using the car to perform aerial tricks, or begin racing in the air. This could open up the entire world to unknown dangers. J. Weiss
ReplyDeleteI think something like this would sell but only to peole in the high class considering if this car/plane is at a high price. No 40 miles per hour is better than stting in a traffic jam moving slower than 10 miles per hour, this could potentially increase the rate at which it sells. This is a cool car that can be used for alot of things but ithink this might be a little sooner than people thought cars like these where going to come out.
ReplyDeleteyes i think something like this could acculay sell. being able to fly in the air would make a big seller but 40 miles perhour would limit sales. It also has a good gas mileage of 25-30 and can go to 0-60 in 3.9 seconds. people would buy this product because its cool because its a car that flys! like the guy in the video said he waould take 40mph over a traffic jam and so would I.
ReplyDeleteI think that this product would easily sell. The only problem with this product is that if millions of people buy it, the car industry would fail and we would have to worry about safety up in the sky. With traffic jams, it would be an easy way to get out of one. I don't think 40 miles per hour would limit sales because people would rather go 40 miles per hour than sit in a traffic jam.

ReplyDeleteI think something like this would sell. It is a cool and interesting car/airplane. It has many features that a lot of people would love to see and use. I do not think that the 40 mph in the air will limit sales because many factors can make it go faster. you are also avoiding all the turns and curves and traffic of the roads. Even though your only going 40mph in the air, it is probably faster than trying to take the roads to places. I think the car/airplane is an awesome thing that these people invented. I would like to see this invention in action. It also brings a huge amazement to little kids. ASolarek
ReplyDeleteI don't think that many of these would sell. I do think that only 40 mph in the air would keep it from having great sales. I think it's cool but I dont think many people will buy it because it is dangerous and not many people know about it yet.
ReplyDeleteI think this flying car is a great idea, but I don't think it would sell. I'm not sure if 40mph in the air would limit the sales of this car. I think they need to improve on the look of the car to make it more presentable because the color and shape of the car is ugly. I would not want to buy this car because i'm afraid of flying and heights.

Yes, I think this would sell because it is an easy way to avoid traffic, and get from one place to another quicker.40 miles per hour is a fast enough speed when you could be on the ground stuck in traffic, going less than half of this speed. My thoughts on this is that it is pretty cool, it would be a little more expensive, but it is worth the money because if you wanted to go somewhere where you could take a long car trip, or spend a lot of money on plane tickets. It may seem expensive when you first buy it, but it will save money in the long run.

ReplyDeletei believe that this would sell. I don't think that 40 miles an hour would limit sales because your in the air, flying, I don't think they would would mind. I think this a neat invention and if I could I would definitely buy one!
ReplyDeleteYes I think it would sell as just like a car more of because of the miles per gallon but not as much as a airplane because not everyone wants to fly a plane with a lot of pressure on them or just is afraid to fly. yes probably would effect it because you can drive on the expressway at 70 mph so driving would probably be faster unless there’s traffic. my thoughts is that it is cool with the ideas that they are coming up with for better transportation since it can fly drive and be a boat if you put pontoons on it.
ReplyDeletei dont think it will sell. even better, buy a car then a plane, if you are even going to beable to buy or rent a air plane hanger, but those are only $75-$100 a mounth, not much unless your broke from buying a plane.
ReplyDeleteI think something like this might sell eventually but right now would be too expensive for most people. The 40 mph in the air limit in my opinion wouldnt limit sales because not having to stop would make up for the slightly slower pace. I think this is a cool new idea but it seems dangerous.
ReplyDeleteI think that this car will be one of the top sellers if it is at a willing price. If to many of these cars were to sell it would crash the idustry carsing a finacial problom. If i could buy this car i would be the one that when theres a traffic jam i would be free in the air.
ReplyDeleteI think that this invention would eventually sell once it is advertised more to the public. I don’t think that 40mph in the air would limit the sales because they are advertising it to help you get out of a traffic jam. Americans would do anything to get out of a traffic jam when they are in a hurry to get somewhere which means sometime in the future the Maverick could become very popular. It is a great idea and it will take a longer time to learn to drive than a car would but I think people will become very interested in purchasing it.
ReplyDeleteI don't think it would sell, because it's like really dangerous. At any moment, the engine could mess up and turn off, the parachute cords could snap, or the person in it could fall out and plumit to their death. But those are just my thoughts.
ReplyDelete40mph in the air probably would limit sales, because if your flying over a long highway with no where to land, and your running out a fuel, well that would be unfortunate. So yeah, I don't think it's safe. But it's a cool invention, I guess.
NGuardado :)
I think it would sell in the future for entertainment use, people would have a thrill with flying their car places.
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoyed this video. I found it facinating. If you didn't post by now, the zero remains. This was posted on Friday 12/17 at 2:05 p.m.
